Xiaomi SU7 Sales Surge
Xiaomi's SU7 has seen remarkable sales growth, with 27,307 units sold in Q2 2024, generating 6.4 billion yuan. Despite this success, the company is still in the early stages of development, facing a net loss of 1.8 billion yuan due to significant initial investments.
The sales figures reflect a rapid increase, with monthly sales rising from 7,058 in April to 11,619 in June. This growth is attributed to new production shifts and the opening of additional retail locations.
Xiaomi's CEO, Lei Jun, emphasizes that as production scales up, the company expects to reduce losses and potentially lower the SU7's retail price, indicating a promising future for the brand in the automotive market.
