Ferris Wheel Fire Injures Over 20 at German Music Festival
A Ferris wheel caught fire at the Highfield Festival in Saxony, Germany, injuring more than 20 people on Saturday evening. The fire broke out shortly after 9 p.m., with images showing two carriages engulfed in flames and smoke rising into the air.
Four individuals sustained burn injuries, while another was treated for injuries from a fall. Additionally, 18 others, including first responders, were affected by smoke inhalation and required hospital treatment.
An investigation is underway, and the area has been secured by police. German rapper Ski Aggu, who was performing at the time, expressed his shock and urged the audience to remain calm to prevent panic.
