New Details on the 2025 Pension Allowances in Egypt
In Egypt, there is growing interest among pensioners regarding the schedule for the five allowances set for 2025. These allowances aim to enhance the living conditions of retirees who rely on pensions for their daily needs. The government has outlined specific dates for the disbursement of these allowances, with the fifth allowance expected to be paid in March 2025.
The first allowance was distributed in September 2023, followed by the second in December 2023, and the third in March 2024. The fourth allowance is scheduled for December 2024. The beneficiaries include pensioners earning between 2,000 and 3,000 Egyptian pounds, as well as those with incomes below 3,000 pounds, targeting those in greater financial need.
The government continues to facilitate the distribution of these allowances, which are mandated by a law passed by the parliament in July 2020. This initiative reflects the government's commitment to improving the financial situation of pensioners amid rising living costs.
